  • Thursday, January 05, 7:30pm - An Evening of Cards will be hosted by Tom Galvin at his home, where there will be tables for bridge and canasta players. Hope Clukey is co-host.

    • We gather between 7 and 7:30pm. The games begin at 7:30. People planning on attending should call Tom at 919-844-3996 or email him at thomasfgalvin@gmail.com at least two days in advance to make reservations for the card game of their choice. Directions: From Crabtree Valley Mall, take Lead Mine Road 3 miles north (passing 4 traffic lights) to Wedgeland Drive. Turn left, and drive 0.2 miles to 1609 Wedgeland Drive. It’s a brick house on the left.

    • Directions to The Longbranch, 608 Creekside Drive, Raleigh 27609:  From the I-440 Beltline, take Exit 10 and go south on Wake Forest Road for 1 mile. Cross Six Forks Road then turn left on Creekside Drive, and the Longbranch is on the right.

    From Glenwood Ave., turn on Leadmine Road (across from Crabtree Mall), then make an immediate right at the first traffic light from Leadmine Road onto North Hills Drive. Stay on North Hills Drive until you get to the traffic light at Northbrook Drive and just past the light (still on North Hills Dr.) on your left is the entrance to Northbrook Country Clubhouse.
