The group will be at the Grande Shores in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
THERE WILL BE NO DANCE PARTY AT NORTHBROOK THIS WEEKEND.

Wednesday, September 10 - Raleigh / Cary Dinner Out at The Big Easy, 222 Fayetteville St., Raleigh (downtown) (919-832-6082).
This is a Cajun/Creole restaurant with the spirit of New Orleans. Happy Hour begins at 6:30pm with diner sitting at 7:00. R.S.V.P. to Tom Palieri (919-673-3910) no later than Tuesday, Sept. 9.

Thursday, September 11 - An Evening of Cards: 7:30-9:30 pm. The Evening of Cards will be co-hosted by Tom Galvin and Emily Newkirk at Tom’s home this season.
Card games for the evening include bridge, canasta and Rook. Players should call 919-844-3996 or email thomasfgalvin@gmail.com at least 2 days in advance to make reservations for the game of their choice. DIRECTIONS: From Crabtree Valley, take Lead Mine Road 3 miles (4 traffic lights) to Wedgeland Drive. Turn left, and drive 0.2 mile to 1609 Wedgeland Drive. It’s a brick house on the left. The address is on the mail box.

Wednesday, September 17 - Durham / Chapel Hill Dinner Out at Watts Grocery, 1116 Broad Street, Durham 27704 (919-416-5040).
Chef Amy Tornquist has been recognized nationally for her North Carolina cuisine, She is not only recognized for her local, North Carolina cuisine, but also for her updated approach to Southern cooking. She selects farmstead products at their peak and prepares and presents them simply, letting their natural flavors speak for themselves. Entrees include seafood, beef, chicken, pork, and vegetable plates ranging from $10 to $20. Social hour begins at 5:30 and at 6:30 we will be seated to order. Call Charlotte Hoffman (919-370-7877) no later than Tuesday, Sept.16th for your reservation. Directions: From I-40, take the Durham Parkway and exit onto Swift Ave. Turn right. This will become Broad Street. Watts Grocery is located about 1.5 miles on the Rt. There is safe lighted parking on each side of the restaurant.

From Glenwood Ave., turn on Leadmine Road (across from Crabtree Mall), then make an immediate right at the first traffic light from Leadmine Road onto North Hills Drive. Stay on North Hills Drive until you get to the traffic light at Northbrook Drive and just past the light (still on North Hills Dr.) on your left is the entrance to Northbrook Country Clubhouse.
